Can I personalize my order?
Yes! Most of our journals, planners, mugs, tumblers, and even some t-shirts can be personalized with a name, title, or special date, depending on the design, at no extra charge.
Personalization helps make each item feel truly yours (or extra thoughtful as a gift). Just follow the instructions on the product page and leave the details in the space provided. If anything is unclear or if you have a special request, feel free to message us—we’re always happy to help.
How are the designs created? Are they really faith-based?
They are—and that’s the heart of everything we do at Rae & Joy. Each design is created prayerfully and intentionally to reflect Biblical truths and uplifting messages.
We don’t just slap a verse on a page; we think deeply about the message, the mood, and how the finished piece will speak to your faith journey. Whether it’s a daily affirmation, a scripture-based journal, or a gift for someone walking through a hard season, our goal is to offer encouragement rooted in God’s Word and love.
Many of our designs are handmade by me personally, and even our Selects collection features items curated with the same level of care and purpose.
Will the designs fade, chip, or peel?
That’s a valid concern—and one we take seriously. All of our products are either handmade by me or carefully produced through trusted partners using high-quality, long-lasting materials. We have gone through extensive research, trial and error, and cost to ensure that the materials we use to make our products are the best that we can find.
- Our laminated journals and planners are finished with a thick, 10 mil protective laminate cover that resists wear
- Our hardcover journals and planners are finished with 50pt hardboard and water and scratch-resistant sticker paper
- Our paperback journals and planners are printed by and sold on Amazon. We also sell these journals and planners on our website.
- Mugs and tumblers are printed using a process that permanently bonds the design—no peeling or cracking here
- Our t-shirts are made with either the Gildan brand t-shirts or the Bella Canvas brand, two great brands that we love because of their steadfastness in color and shrinkage. Most of the transfers we use are high-quality DTF transfers, but we also use sublimation and screen print transfers.
We want your items to stay beautiful and meaningful for years to come.
Do the items really look like the pictures?
Yes—and we think you’ll love them even more in person. Most of the images we use on our website are realistic previews to show you how personalization will appear. If you would like to see in real life photos of our products, visit our Facebook page where we often post pictures of the actual products when they are released.
We don’t believe in filters that mislead or mockups that overpromise. If anything, we often hear that the real thing feels even more special when it arrives.
What if something feels off when I get my order?
If something isn’t quite right, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We're a small business, and every customer matters deeply to us.
Because most of our items are personalized and made just for you, returns are limited, but if we make a mistake or your order arrives damaged, we’ll do what we can to make it right.
What about shipping? I’m often ordering gifts last-minute.
We totally understand—life gets busy! Most of our handmade items ship out within 5–7 business days, often sooner. Some of our vendor-partner items (Rae & Joy Selects) can take up to 10–18 business days, so please plan accordingly.
If you’re on a tight timeline, just message us before placing your order. We’ll let you know what’s possible and do our best to get it there in time.
How do I know I’m getting something worth the money?
